Description :
The 18-hole championship golf course is located in Fort Worth, Texas. The course features 6,850 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70 and offers some of the best greens in the area. The course rating is 73.8 and it has a slope rating of 129. Designed by Charles Akey, the Diamond Oaks golf course opened in 1962. We are proud to host Lee Trevino as a frequent guest to the club.
Diamond Oaks has served as the proud host to the following events:
- 2005 USGA Mid Am Qualifier
- 2008 Texas Mid AM Qualifier
- 2009 USGA SR AM Qualifier
- 2010 USGA Am Qualifier
Local Rules :
Course Rules - Subject to Change
- The General Manager, Golf Professionals and golf course employees shall enforce the course rules.
- USGA rules of golf, as augmented by the local rules, shall govern all play.
- Four hour and ten minute pace of play
- Dress code policy enforced on the course and practice facility - collared shirts, appropriate golf attire - no jeans allowed
- Tee Time Policy
- All members must book online or call the golf shop to reserve tee times.
- Golf Members may make tee times up to seven (7) days in advance for weekday play (Tuesday through Friday).
- Tee times for Saturday are available on the preceding Wednesday beginning at 7:00 a.m.
- Tee times for Sunday are available on the preceding Thursday beginning at 7:00 am.
- For any Monday openings, tee times are available on the preceding Friday beginning at 7:00 a.m.
- Rules that apply only on Saturday, Sunday and Holidays to tee times from 7:00 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- Limit of one (1) tee time per person
- Must be a minimum of three (3) players in the group – failure to fill the group with at least three (3) players will result in loss of tee time privileges for the next four (4) weeks.
- If you do not have a minimum of three (3) players, please contact the Golf Shop to be paired with other players.
- Any tee time that is a “no show” may result in loss of tee time privileges for the next four (4) weeks.
- Tee times must be cancelled twenty-four (24) hours in advance. Failure to cancel twenty-four (24) hours in advance may result in the loss of tee time privileges for the next four (4) weeks.
- All members must book online or call the golf shop to reserve tee times.
- All players must register at the golf shop at least 15 minutes prior to play. All fees must be paid in advance. Players must start play from the first tee or as authorized by golf shop personnel. “Cutting-in” and starting on any other hole is not permitted. Failure to check in and register fifteen minutes prior to a reserved starting time may result in cancellation or setback.
- Each player must have their own set of clubs.
- Metal Spikes are not allowed on the golf course.
- Golf marshals may be on duty to help regulate play and enforce golf cart regulations. Your cooperation is appreciated and expected.
- No more than -five players are permitted in a group unless authorized by the golf shop.
- Spectators are at the discretion of the golf shop and must adhere to the dress code and policies and procedures that govern golfers. All course signs must be observed.
- Each player should use his or her respective locker rooms to change into golf attire. Use of the parking lots or Club restrooms as a changing area is not allowed.
- Golf bags must be kept at least ten (10) feet from any green.
- Children under the age of fourteen (14) will not be allowed on the golf course unless properly equipped and accompanied by a responsible adult.
- No children under the age of fourteen (14) may be left at the Club or on the golf course without the supervision of a responsible adult at all times.
- During drought periods, smoking is not permitted on the golf course.
