A Mighty Golf Course From Little Acorns Grew

Beginning with our groundbreaking event in July 1960, the natural beauty of our 148 acres has been magnificently incorporated into an artistically designed 18-hole, par 70 golf course. Under the supervision, of Charles Akey, a well known golf professional and designer of clubs in Fort Worth and West Texas, our original visionaries planned to open a championship golf course to serve the local community.
